He was born on February 23, 1960 into a family that has been working in the field of musical instruments for 3 generations. He enrolled in the International Violinmaking School of Cremona in 1974, graduating in 1978 under the guidance of Masters Morassi and Scolari. He has participated in various national and international competitions obtaining the 2nd prize in the VII competition for young luthiers of Bagnacavallo in 1982 and also in Bagnacavallo at the XII competition of violin making in 1988 the 12th prize with a cello. He lives and works in Crema (CR) where he devotes himself to the construction of the instruments of the classical quartet as well as the restoration and creation of baroque instruments.
